Job Description: 

Overall Purpose of Role:
An exciting opportunity to lead the Technology Operations team whilst overseeing IT Security; the Level 1 and Level 2 Technology Support team; and Desktop Support.

The successful candidate will manage the IT budget, and ultimately be responsible for the Company’s infrastructure – including but not limited to: Networking, Data Centers, Servers, IT Security, Email Systems, and Internal User Account and Access management.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:
Manage and build our support organization
Redefine the best practices and approach to Technology Operations
Execute a variety of Operational Projects across a large estate of services and systems
Demonstrate an expertise in key technical areas based on previous experience
Keep up with the latest developments in Infrastructure, Internet Technology, and IT Security
Build Strong relationships with colleagues based on a foundation of trust and reliability
Work with colleagues to help realize the company’s vision
Perform hands-on troubleshooting when required
Requirements:
Previous work experience in Managing Technology Support Services
Experience or Qualifications in IT Security and/or IT Risk Management
Experience running Operational Improvement Projects
Previous Responsibility for Production Support, Incident Management and Incident resolution
Hands-on experience as an Operations Analyst, Network Operations, or as a Systems Administrator
Strong communication style, problem solving and attention to detail
The following experience is beneficial:

Management of Disaster Recovery Exercises, or participating in a hands-on role
Experience in Infrastructure Design (Network, Server Farm, Physical & Logical Design)
A Qualification in IT Service management (such as ITIL, LEAN, Six Sigma)
Knowledge of Infrastructure Resiliency, and Software Resiliency and Disaster Recovery
Previous roles within the Financial Services (especially Forex or Securities), or Gaming
Previous roles in Organizations with a IT service delivery that follows global best practices
Windows Server, CentOS, Virtualization technology, Shared storage (SAN), HA Clusters, Backups
Monitoring Tools, Firewalls, Routers, Load Balancers, DNS, CDNs (Internet Acceleration), DNS, VPN devices


Further Info:
Working hours are 8:30 - 17:30 - Monday to Friday (overtime on Sundays might be required)
The role is located in Limassol, Cyprus
This role may involve out-of-hours calls in the event of serious Incidents
Business travel is likely to be required
