Job Description: 

Responsibilities & Duties
Responsible for the strategy, implementation and improvements of data and analytics across the Commercial function of the firm
Work with the Head of Product Development, and other Commercial heads, to build a data and analytics strategy for our business objectives
Using the approved strategy work with the technology team to define and implement our tracking and data capabilities
Use the collected and amalgamated data to provide the whole commercial department with insights that will drive measurable improvements in the way we serve our clients
Build dashboards for Commercial teams to allow them to monitor KPIs day-to-day
Fully understand end-to-end user-journeys so that you can perform ad-hoc analysis to discover new insights or investigate and solve issues
Be the Commercial team representative on the organisations data warehouse project – gathering requirements and ensuring delivery of our requested features
Keep up-to-date with the latest tools and trends in data and analytics, incorporating them into the strategy as appropriate
Work with external agencies to achieve our goals
Requirements
University level educated
Excellent data and technical knowledge
Experience working with Google’s suite of tracking, data aggregation and visualisation products: Firebase; Big Query; Data Studio
Very comfortable with big data sets to find insights that drive meaningful improvements in our products and services
Experience working in, or closely with, a client-focused Product team
An eye for detail and quality
Ability to solve challenging business / technology problems
Experience capturing business requirements and turning them into detailed functional design specifications in an Agile development setting, including the definition of Minimum Viable Products
Ability to present and articulate findings in a concise and consumable manner
A good understanding of machine learning and predictive modelling concepts (not hands on experience)
Desirable skills:

Experience working with mobile attribution software such as Appsflyer or competitor
Knowledge of Rest/JSON APIs
SQL
Experience working with Marketing Automation Platforms
