About Trading Contests: Contests act in the same manner as bonuses. In general the contests are used to bring new clients and to retain their customers for longer periods. Depending on the target of each Broker, the contests can take place on the Live Accounts or on a Demo accounts each of this will server a different goal. - The live contest is to increase the volume traded from existing clients and at the same time is an attempt to register new active clients. The prizes can be a cash prize that will be deposited in the winners trading account or large prize such as a super car or a trip that it has to be given to the winner of the contest. The demo contests aim to bring more potential clients in a Broker so they can get used to the trading conditions that are offered. The winner on a Demo contest usually receives a prize or he/she may receive a cash deposit on a live trading account that in sometimes it can be withdraw able. - In both cases (Live and Demo) Brokers will try to offer an added incentive to their clients and potential clients to choose them instead of another Broker for their real trading.
